Establishing network trust
Cisco Silicon One incorporates built-in mechanisms to verify that the silicon chip is genuine and installed in the intended switching devices, exactly as expected by the customer, ensuring device security against hacking.
This process involves several stages: 1-The Trust Anchor Module checks the CPU software. 2-The Silicon One device identifies itself to the software and confirms its installation in the intended system. As a result, both the hardware and software in the system and network are trusted.
