Cisco Silicon One actively stamps the packet header with valuable information, such as the congestion level experienced in the queue, packet delay, and packet output port.

The end-to-end congestion control algorithm within Network Interface Controllers (NIC) uses this information to improve network utilization, reduce Job Completion Time (JCT), and lower latency.
